Even though asbestoswas once useful as a building material, its great non combustible advantages were very apparent. The substance was once widely used as a form of fire protection around homes. During a fire, this substance would contain the blaze by not combusting and spreading. The sad thing is this material has fallen out of favor because of its cancer causing properties. The dust of asbestos has been known to cause various forms of lung cancer. The inflammation of the lungs and tumors has lead to numerous deaths from asbestos exposure. These cases have lead to more attention as the problem became more apparent. Today this substance has been banned for use in residential construction but many traces of it still remain in older homes. Many older homes have residues of asbestos dust from its previous history of overhaul. The asbestos particles can even be found in hard to reach places like the home air ducts.

Your Lungs Need Fresh Air – Get Air Duct Cleaning Today!
All my life I have lived with allergies and have had to deal with the seasonal fits of sneezing and headaches and the like. However, when the seasons change to more favorable weather for us allergy sufferers, I noticed that I was still having the same kind of allergy problems that I have in the spring and summer months. So, I did some research and I have discovered that the air I breath in my own home, can be far worse for my lungs than the air that is outside. After I read that, I did a little more looking and found a company that did complete duct cleaning to help me clean the air in my home.
